Why Alpha Agri and AgroLiquid is your liquid fertilizer choice for soybeans

What does a crop of soybeans actually need?
According to A&L Labs, a 60 bushel soybean crop needs about 58 units (44 removed) of phosphorus, 132 units of Potash, 21 units (11 removed) of sulphur, 57 (9 removed) of calcium, 30 (9 removed) of magnesium and five other micronutrients. While most of these are in adequate supply in the soil, they are frequently tied to soil clay particles. As the soil pH rises to 7 and higher (many local farms are in the 7.5 range), micro-nutrients tied to the soil clay and roots will have difficulty accessing these micros, thus limiting yield potential. AgroLiquid’s micros are flavonol polymer protected. As the carbon based polymers break down, roots draw in the micros before they can bond to soil clay particles. Combined with Alpha Agri's fully tested, unique humic and fulvic acid blend, Humika™, your soybean crop will be set to meet its full potential.

What should be included in a soybean starter program?
Research generally suggests that soybeans need a good base soil fertility in place before they are
planted. While adding a dry starter normally will not economically increase yields, Alpha Agri has
seen a positive yield response by adding Pro-Germinator™ or Sure-K™ along with
accesS™, Micro 500™ and boron to help get those young plants off to a strong start. Aren't all fertilizers basically the same? No, while many fertilizers seem very similar, there are actually some significant differences. Salt index varies considerably from one source to another, from very low to toxic. As an example, ammonium thiosulfate (12N, 26S)has a partial salt index (salt level compared to actual nutrients) of 7.53, while ammonium sulfate (21N, 24S) has a salt index of 3.25. AgroLiquid’s products have salt indexes which are typically 1/2 that of other liquid fertilizers.

What does that mean for your crops?

AgroLiquid products are safer to use in the root zone and less corrosive for your equipment  Also, AgroLiquid products are all pharmaceutical grade; they are not by-products of manufacturing.

What would Alpha Agri recommend for your soybean crop?
While all fertility programs should start with a soil test, we would generally suggest 1.5 gallons of
Pro-Germinator™, 1 gallon of accesS™ sulphur, 1 liter of Micro 500™, 1/2 liter of Humika™ and 1/2 liter each of copper and boron as a starter. Once the plants are out of the ground and growing well, a foliar feeding of Ferti-Rain™ (early season) or Sure-K™ (mid-season) will give a needed boost to realize maximum yield potential.

Do AgroLiquid products actually work?

Absolutely! Extensive research is carried out on all of AgroLiquid’s products at their 930 acre research farm in Michigan before being offered to producers. Join the thousands of other producers enjoying the benefits of Agro
Liquid fertilizers. Alpha Agri’s Humika™ is CFIA registered and many independent trials have repeatedly proved its benefits.
